Opening up this once-enclosed porch presented several challenges: There was a five-foot distance from the front door to grade and it was imperative to work with the existing structure and rooflines. Raising the grade to the front yard and hand framing the new roof trusses and overhangs to tie into the existing rooflines solved these issues. Professional landscaping was the icing on the cake.
