The original porch of this home was enclosed and the homeowners found it too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter to be of much use. Add to that the fact that it needed new windows and flooring and it was a prime candidate for a remodel. Custom-built columns, breadboard ceilings and crown moldings added a warmth and openness that the original home lacked—not to mention incredible curb appeal.
